They will build their own success by selecting the French, Cambridge, or IB curriculum within an exceptional campus featuring a unique boarding facility for middle and high school students.
Nursery school
TPS to GS. Trilingual approach from 18 months. Teaching of French, English and Italian, focus on autonomy and personal development.
Elementary
Primary school (CP to CM2). Bilingual French – English stream with the French and Cambridge curricula. 2 hours of Italian per week.
Secondary school
– Years 7 to 9: French curriculum with international options: Cambridge and Terza Media.
1,001 pupils passed the DNB (961 of whom achieved ‘Good’ or ‘Very Good’ grades). Boarding facilities available from Year 7.
– Years 9 & 10: IGCSE preparation.
High school

From what age can my child be registered?
We welcome children from birth. Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), from 18 months, and up to the final year of high school. Registrations are open all year, according to availability at each level.
The ISD Rome prepares for which diplomas?
Three paths at high school: the French Baccalaureate, the’International Baccalaureate Diploma fully taught in English, and the’ESABAC who simultaneously validates the French Baccalauréat and the Italian Esame di Stato. Upstream the’IGCSE, the Central Bank of Norway or the Year 9 Italian.

Can my child, who doesn't speak French, enrol in school?
Yes. From a young age, non-native speakers receive specific support. From Grade 9, the IGCSE and the’The IB Diploma is taught entirely in English and accessible to non-French-speaking students. Over 40 nationalities are represented at ISD.
Is boarding school really unique in Europe?
Yes. The ISD Rome is the the only AEFE establishment in Europe to offer a mixed boarding facility For pupils in years 7 to 13. An experience of independence and immersion in Roman and international culture.
What is the registration process like?
Three steps: 1/ submit the application online at Eduka (proof of identity, payslips, passports), 2/ pedagogical interview offered within 5 working days, 3/ payment of the first registration fee after confirmation. Definitive registration is confirmed within 7 days of payment.
Do you offer school transport and catering?
Yes. A service of School transport covers the main districts of Rome. On-site catering is offered to all pupils.
